How to get around? Almost everything is close together. You can walk almost anywhere in a reasonable amount of time! But for those days you don't feel like walking, you can always get a ride from one of El Paso's fabulous taxi cabs! If you want to go by air, you can always stop at the amazing El Paso Municipal Airport. If you plan on riding a bike, be sure to wear sun screen and a helmet.
Attractions- There are many fun things to do in El Paso! For example, you can see the breath-taking Plaza Theater built in 1927 by H.T Ponsford & Sons, the amazing El Paso Zoo, and much more! You can also go see the exciting El Paso Sun Bowl at the University of El Paso Texas, also known as UTEP.
Money- While visiting El Paso Texas, be sure to bring money! Paper money is currently in use all over the united states!
Customs and Mannerisms- All Texans have good mannerisms! For example, men always compliment good cooking, Men must offer a cigarate to all people in the room starting with the women. All children are taught to say ma'am and sir to their elders.
What to Wear? The weather in El Paso always changes. But the typical outfit for women is, blazer pants and a sweater. Men normally wear, embroidered crewneck and some pants. Parents dressed their young boys in a rugby style pullover and their daughters in dresses or skirts.
Sports and Recreation- The Don Haskins center will be open for viewing many basketball games. The University of Texas El Paso is open to the public for viewing soccer games, basket ball games, and football games.
Accommodations: One of the most highly recommended hotels in El Paso, Texas is the Plaza Hotel built in 1923 by Henry Trost.
Restaurants: You can get a good quality, fairly priced burger from almost anywhere in El Paso. But, for the times you don't feel like a burger, you can always go to one of El Paso's amazing restaurants, L&J's! The typical 1970s cuisine consisted of Fondue meals, Pasta Primavera, Wacky cake, and Watergate salad and Watergate Cake.
Health & Safety- Be sure when visiting El Paso, Texas to know the local police number. If you are in need of medicine there are local drugstores that have almost everything. If you need to pick up a prescription, just run to a Walgreens nearby!
Souveniers- You can always get a good souvenier from local shoppes. you can buy some music, book, mugs and much more!
